ssistant Professor, Wendy K. Bendoni joins the American Influencer Council as a Professional Member Advisor.

In July 2020, the American Influencer Council invited Wendy K. Bendoni from Woodbury University’s School of Business Fashion Marketing program to officially become part of their Professional Member Advisors. This is truly an honor to be part of such a necessary council that has been long overdue to assist both brands and influencers. The council’s driving force is an award-winning digital marketer and genius content director, Qianna Smith Bruneteau. The American Influencer Council, Inc. (AIC) is a newly formed not-for-profit invite-only membership trade association. The AIC is led by influencers who are quickly proving to be a significant anchor in the U.S. digital economy. The AIC states that they strive to sustain the integrity and viability of the influencer marketing industry in the U.S., which is projected to reach $15 billion by 2022 according to the founder Qianna Smith Bruneteau.  

About the AIC

The American Influencer Council (AIC) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit membership trade association. The AIC is the sole trade association in the U.S. led by and for career creators. The AIC harnesses resources to advance digital marketing education, research of the digital economy as it relates to creators’ contributions to the GDP, professional standards for career creators, sponsored content standardization, think tank development, and curation of publicly available business growth resources amongst others.

The AIC mission is to foster digital economy research and analysis as it relates to the commerce of career influencers and their contributions to the U.S. GDP. The Council has a five-prong approach, which includes:
